Leicester Perl Mongers
We are a group of programmers all using the PERL language, who congregate regularly in the Leicester area of England. We run training classes in PERL and are involved in several Open Source Projects with the wider community.

Our Social Networking Project, www.easyprofiles.co.uk, has been picked up by some schools locally who are using it for their marketing and IT classes.
We are currently working with a group of astonomers we are trying to devise systems for better computing small scale astronomical data using cheap technology available to school etc.
